Peter is caught between glory and terror as he steps out on the water with Jesus. He wants to believe, but there is still some doubt within him. When have you moved ahead with half-faith, and what was the result?

Years ago, I was asked to teach a large Sunday school by a loving old Christian lady, who had taught the class for over 40 years. She was an inspiration to me and at first I doubted my ability to do justice with the job. Rather than saying no, I asked for some time to think about, but actually needed time to pray about it. I felt as if I was being nudged by the Holy Spirit to do it. I agreed and the Lord's spirit directed me the rest of the way. I would ask for the Spirit's help and he directed me.

If one has faith the size of a mustard seed.......... The issue may not be as much a subtraction or "half" faith but instead an interjection of self into the mix.
